About World Press Freedom Day (Malaysia)

World Press Freedom Day is an annual and global event dedicated to press freedom. It falls on May 3 each year and the United Nation would set the theme of the year. Come May 3, the Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ) Malaysia proudly organizes a two-day celebration to spread the awareness on press freedom and freedom of speech. This blog is the publicity and info site for the coming and the past celebrations.
